SERP Simulator
Preview how a page's title and meta description will actually look in Google search results, and check whether either will be truncated.
Free, no signup. Rate-limited per visitor to keep this fast for everyone. Truncation is estimated by character count, the same widely-used approximation every SEO tool relies on — Google truncates by rendered pixel width and doesn't publish an exact number.
How this simulator works
This tool renders a title and meta description the way Google actually displays them in search results, using the same approximate pixel-width truncation Google applies — not just a character count. A title or description that looks fine in a text editor can still get cut off mid-word once Google renders it.
Why truncation matters
A title cut off before its most important word, or a description that ends mid-sentence, looks unpolished next to competitors' results and can quietly reduce the click-through rate even when a page ranks well. Since Google sometimes rewrites a title or description anyway when it thinks its own version serves the searcher better, previewing the exact text you control is the only way to know what you're actually working with.
How to use the preview
Aim to put the most important words first in both the title and description, since those are the ones least likely to be cut off regardless of pixel width. Keep the title under roughly 60 characters and the description under roughly 160 to stay safely within Google's typical display limits on both desktop and mobile.
What to do next
If your title or description gets a truncation warning here, shorten it and re-check. The free Page Checker tool can pull a live page's current title and description directly if you'd rather not copy them by hand.
